March on Colon Cancer: AdventHealth Manchester and Partners Host Community Event at Rawlings and Stinson Park

AdventHealth Manchester, in partnership with the Cumberland Valley District Health Department and the Kentucky Cancer Program, is hosting an important community event called "March on Colon Cancer" on Wednesday, March 27th, from 4:00pm to 5:00pm at Rawlings and Stinson Park. The event will feature educational sessions and on-site providers to answer your questions about colon cancer awareness and prevention.

"We are excited to bring this event to our community and to provide valuable information and resources to help prevent colon cancer," said Crystal Day, Marketing Director at AdventHealth Manchester. "We encourage everyone to come out and join us for this important event."

The event is open to the public and all are welcome to attend. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about colon cancer prevention and to speak with healthcare providers about their questions and concerns. In addition, attendees are encouraged to take our online colon cancer risk assessment to see if they are at risk for colon cancer or to learn more at ManchesterColonAwareness.com. Participants are also encouraged to wear dark blue to the event, as this color represents colon cancer awareness.

"Your participation makes a difference," said Tammy Pennington from the Cumberland Valley District Health Department. "We look forward to seeing you there and to walking together towards greater awareness and prevention of colon cancer."
