Sissel Jacob Day: A Heartwarming Celebration of Leadership at AdventHealth

July 25, 2024 — Last Thursday, we shared a heartwarming celebration in honor of Sissel Jacob's exceptional leadership as she moves on to lead our new Kansas City hospital. The administrative parking lot was transformed into a lively festival, brimming with joyous laughter, uplifting music, and a friendly competition of cornhole. The event also featured a photobooth, a delicious lunch from the Hibachi Food Truck, and tons of fun at the Ax Throwing station.

Reflecting on Sissel's departure, we are reminded of her profound influence and the legacy she has created. Her leadership has been an inspiration, and we are confident that she will continue to shine in her new role.

As the event came to a close, Tommy Harmon, Clay County Judge Executive, and Mayor Steven Collins honored Sissel by proclaiming last Thursday as “Sissel Jacob Day.” This splendid surprise was a well-deserved tribute to an extraordinary leader.
