Successful Conclusion of Q4 Freedom from Smoking Cessation Class

We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of our recent Freedom from Smoking Cessation Class! This week, we wrapped up the class with three dedicated participants.

A huge thank you to our incredible instructors, Jamie Feltner, RN, and Valerie Newman, RN, for their unwavering efforts and support. During the class, participants learned valuable strategies to quit smoking, including understanding triggers, developing coping mechanisms, and building a strong support system. They also gained insights into the health benefits of quitting smoking and how to maintain a smoke-free lifestyle.

Did you know that in 2022, 67.7% of adults who smoked said they wanted to quit smoking and 53.3% reported trying to quit in the past year? However, less than 1 in 10 adults who smoke cigarettes succeed in quitting each year. Our program aims to provide the support and resources needed to increase these success rates.

"We are incredibly proud of our participants' dedication and progress. Quitting smoking is a challenging journey, but with the right support and resources, it is achievable. Our goal is to empower individuals to take control of their health and live smoke-free lives," said Valerie Newman, RN.
