Looking After Our Tiniest Patients With Expert Neonatal Intensive Care
The moments just after birth are some of the most precious. When your baby needs extra monitoring and attention, our Level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) is ready to provide expert care and watchful eyes. Staffed 24 hours a day with specialized neonatal care nurses and neonatologists, the Ocala NICU is designed to care for babies born at or after 32 weeks who weigh more than 3.3 pounds, as well as babies with certain health problems, including the need for short-term ventilator-assisted breathing.

If your provider has determined that a higher level of care is needed, our teams will coordinate a seamless transfer to AdventHealth for Children in Orlando, home of the Walt Disney Pavilion. Your child will then be evaluated and cared for by a team of award-winning pediatric specialists specifically trained in providing care just for kids.
