- About Our Foundation

The AdventHealth Redmond Foundation was formed in 2023 to support the hospital’s mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ through compassionate, quality care. Our Foundation raises money for initiatives that support patient health, team member health and community health. Through this work, we leverage gifts, grants and community resources to expand health care to more members of the Rome and Floyd County community than ever before.

We know that giving is personal, and it matters to us that you feel connected with your giving. Explore how you can give to find what speaks to you.
Charitable Bequest
You can leave us a bequest in your will as a fixed amount, a percentage or a remainder of your estate. You’ll give to our Foundation and reduce your family’s estate taxes, too.
Charitable Gift Annuity
When you give through a charitable gift annuity, you’ll get the benefit of income-tax advantages, and our Foundation will receive fixed payments.
Charitable Remainder Trust
With a trust, your gift grows each year. You and your family receive income-tax and capital-gains benefits, and our Foundation receives funding for our most-pressing needs.
Donation Form
Make a direct donation and we’ll start putting your gift to good use immediately. Fill out our Online Donation Form. Do it in honor of a loved one or choose to remain anonymous. It’s up to you.
Independent Retirement Account (IRA) Rollover
Instead of taking your required minimum distribution, you can give by calling your IRA account administrator to transfer funds to our hospital Foundation.
Life Insurance
When you name our hospital Foundation as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy, you can ensure your gift makes a lasting difference.
Property
We welcome residential, commercial, forest or farm property transfers to our hospital Foundation. You’ll receive income-tax benefits, and we’ll receive the benefits of your generosity for years to come.
Transfer of Stock
You can transfer an appreciated asset like a stock to our Foundation and get an income-tax deduction.

Becoming a member of the Wholeness Society is a way to ensure we are meeting strategic priorities and support the longevity of the Foundation for generations to come.
How to Join
- Team members who contribute $10 or more per pay period through payroll deduction
- Community members who contribute $25 per month or an annual gift greater than $300
Where the Funds Go
Members can assign their gift to a menu of directed fund options or funds will automatically be allocated to the Strategic Needs Fund.

When you make a donation to the AdventHealth Redmond Foundation, you are helping patients and families receive the best care, close to home. The Cardiac Care Fund expands access to high quality heart care to everyone by providing access to early diagnosis through screenings, education and increasing access to life-saving services.
- Volunteer at Our Hospital

Your time is valuable — and spending some helping our staff and medical team give hope and healing to patients and families is so meaningful. As a hospital volunteer, you’ll help us raise money for special projects and renovations. You’ll help our patients feel comfortable, and you’ll support our hospital teams in their mission of healing.
