She serves as your personal resource and advocate, and can help you find an appropriate surgeon, offer education and guidance ahead of surgery, and provide direction for managing your recovery process.

- Pre-Operative Course

Every patient scheduled for spinal fusion surgery is encouraged to participate in our pre-op educational course which helps take the mystery out of your surgery and recovery. Our Clinical Care Coordinator will guide you through the surgical process during a short one-hour course, so you know what to expect before and after surgery. Your education includes: pre-operative education, rehabilitation exercise tips, activities for daily living, discharge planning, family or caregiver support, and advanced pain management. This pre-op course is scheduled at the same time of surgery and is often paired with your pre-op visit at AdventHealth Tampa.
