Helping You Care For the People You Care About
You make caring for patients easier. Your tireless spirit and loving concern help lift your loved one’s mood and mind, helping them feel better even when they’re not feeling well. You are every bit a part of the healing process at AdventHealth, formerly Florida Hospital Heartland — and your visits are deeply appreciated.
In turn, we’d like to make your visit to our three locations in Sebring, Lake Placid, and Wauchula as pleasant and productive as possible, so we've compiled important hospital information about parking, visiting hours, guest services, and more. And if you need any special assistance in caring for your loved one here in the Florida Heartland — from finding a support group to getting an extra pillow — we’re here to help. Because visits can be an emotional whirlwind, and staying grounded can be a challenge. To help you stay strong, our spiritual-support staff is always available to provide comfort and guidance. We’re here to support you, with everything from the seemingly small details to your greatest concerns.

- All visitors must be 12 years or older.
- Exceptions may be made for extenuating circumstances, such as imminent end-of-life or unique patient support needs.
- Visitors who are sick will not be permitted to enter the hospital, unless they are seeking personal, medical care.
- AdventHealth’s PPE policies and procedures include universal masking for all team members, medical providers, patients, and visitors, regardless of vaccination status. Patients and visitors who do not wear a mask will be excluded from visiting.

Our chapels are always open and ready to provide you with a hopeful sanctuary. Locations:

- AdventHealth Sebring – in the main hallway between the cafeteria and the front entrance.

Pastoral Care
Regardless of your beliefs, our team of qualified, spiritual guides will help you stay positive and channel hope and faith. Each of our chaplains focuses on the spiritual healing and restoration of those in our care, including their friends and families. Chaplains are available 24 hours a day to listen, counsel, and comfort. Our dedication to providing extraordinary, compassionate care continues beyond the patient floors, operating rooms, and ERs. Wellness means healing all aspects of the body, mind, and spirit. Our campuses were built upon this foundation and it still guides the care we provide every day.
Through our pastoral care, patients and guests find prayer can be a powerful factor in healing. Whether guiding prayer, sacrament, or meditation, our chaplains help fulfill our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ to our community.
To request a chaplain, simply ask your nurse, or call Call863-402-3370.
