Supporting Caregivers and Their Loved Ones
As a caregiver, you take on various roles — nurturer, scheduler, chauffeur and maybe even bill manager. At AdventHealth Castle Rock, we work hard to lighten the load for those who care for our patients. With compassionate clinicians committed to personal care and experts in whole-person healing, our team will make you feel like family while you care for your own.
Our hospital has decided not to participate in the Colorado End-of-Life Options Act, but we still provide compassionate end-of-life and palliative care to patients and families.
Resources for Caregivers
The experienced team members at our Castle Rock hospital have deep compassion for our patients and their families. That’s why we’ve gathered helpful resources to inform and support you.
Our Support Services for Caregivers
Serving as your loved one’s advocate can be stressful and time-consuming. That’s why it’s so important to take care of yourself, too. Accept friends’ offers to help and let us know about any concerns you or your loved one may have. It’s also important to remember that, as a caregiver, you are a key player on your loved one’s care team. And that means you provide an invaluable contribution to their care.
- Language, Hearing and Vision Services

At our AdventHealth Castle Rock hospital, we want to provide a welcoming and accessible experience for everyone. Let us know if we can assist you or your loved one with language, hearing or vision issues. We offer support like medical interpretation services and a device to help deaf and hard-of-hearing patients communicate.
- Thorough Spiritual Care
-
Our onsite chaplains are available at any time, day or night, to assist you and your loved ones by offering a listening presence, help with advance directives, spiritual guidance, prayer and crisis support. A chaplain’s focus is to help patients process and move forward in their healing journey. Ask your loved one’s nurse to request these services.
Patients and visitors are also welcome to visit and pray in the chapel, which is located on the first floor behind the main lobby. The chapel is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
