The Metroplex Health System volunteers are accepting scholarship applications from students pursuing two or four-year degree in health care human health services during the 2017-2018 school year.
The deadline to submit an application is Tuesday, Feb. 28; after which the scholarship committee will review submitted applications and then select applicants to be interviewed in March.
Funding for the scholarships comes from sales from the volunteer-run gift shop at Metroplex call the Eclectic and other special sales events. Several physicians also provide funds.
Applications are available at the information desk located in the front lobby of the hospital or online. For information, call Call254-519-4640.
