Make a Difference in Your Community
As a not-for-profit hospital, we depend on the generosity of our community to help us acquire and maintain the resources we need to care for our patients. Your gift to AdventHealth Littleton, will make a difference today — and well into the future.
With the partnership of individual donors and supporting organizations, we can recruit expert providers, purchase leading-edge equipment and develop programs designed to help patients as they journey to whole-person healing. Whether you make a one-time donation, a multi-year pledge or a legacy gift, your support helps us heal patients physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Your Giving Makes a Big Impact
At our Littleton hospital, your charitable donations and gifts can be used in a variety of ways, from growing our service lines to creating programs that benefit our community. Or you can choose to support our hospital’s greatest needs, allowing us to direct your donation where it’s needed most.
- Breast Care Center
-
Support for our breast care program allows us to provide first-class, personalized care for a wide range of women’s health needs, including mammograms and cancer care.
- Deep Brain Stimulation
-
Deep brain stimulation (DBS) offers relief for those who have Parkinson’s disease, movement disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). We are the first hospital in Colorado to offer DBS for OCD and are pioneering techniques.
- Erin McDowell Nursing Scholarship Fund
-
Nurture our skilled nurses' education and professional development and honor the legacy of the late Erin McDowell, a former nurse practitioner at our Littleton hospital, with a gift to the Erin McDowell Nursing Scholarship fund. This initiative provides academic scholarships to those pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in nursing.
- Healing Arts
-
We believe in the healing power of art. With our Healing Arts program, we create spaces for patients to manage their illnesses and provide inspiration for living. From music and painting to massages and nature walks, our Healing Arts program offers many expressions of creativity to revitalize the body, mind and spirit.
- Healing Garden
-
As part of our commitment to whole-person healing, our half-acre Hewit Foundation Healing Garden offers patients, and their families, respite and peace. Inside, you’ll find small, intimate gardens, each designed with a specific purpose. Opportunities are available to contribute to dedicated garden features such as stone benches, bricks or whispering wall flowers.

- Redefining Neurological Care
-
Neurological disorders like epilepsy, stroke, essential tremor and Parkinson’s disease can greatly impact daily living. Real solutions are within our reach, but further philanthropic support is needed.
Brain Matters, a campaign to advance neurological care, will bring new treatments and life-changing developments to Colorado and beyond. Your support will allow us to conduct research, explore innovative treatment options and serve our patients better than ever.
- Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners
-
Our AdventHealth Littleton hospital is grateful to be among the few hospitals in the metropolitan Denver area to provide sexual assault nurse examiners (SANEs). These registered nurses are specially trained to offer comprehensive care to survivors of sexual violence. SANEs learn to identify physical trauma, document injuries, collect evidence, maintain the chain of custody and provide necessary referrals. We work to ensure the whole person is cared for, which means tending to the person’s body, as well as their spirit and emotions. SANEs advocate for survivors and act as expert witnesses for the prosecution, increasing the prosecution rate of perpetrators.
- Suicide Prevention and Education
-
We are committed to helping people of all ages who struggle with suicidal inclination and self-harm. We partner in suicide prevention by supporting organizations like the Greater Littleton Youth Initiative, which offers programs such as the Suicide Prevention Project and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) to local youth.
