Manchester Memorial Hospitals (MMH) marketing department was recently honored with 2 Thoroughbred Awards and 5 Certificates of Merit from the Kentucky Society for Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing (KSHPRM). This years awards ceremony was held in conjunction with the KSHPRM Fall Conference at the Woodford Reserve Distillery on 3rd November 2016.
Thoroughbred Awards honor and recognize excellent work throughout the Commonwealth in the areas of healthcare marketing and public relations. Organizations are eligible to submit entries in 32 categories ranging from print and television advertising to websites and campaigns. All entries are sent to a sister society in another state for judging.
This year, KSHPRM Thoroughbred Awards received 120+ entries, which were judged by the Georgia Society for Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing. Out of the Thoroughbred Awards given, MMH bagged 2 of them for the Men's Health Month and Superheroes campaigns. MMH also received five Certificates of Merit for Lifelines (internal publication), CREATION Life Pregnancy (public education initiative), the Summer Fitness Program (Cooperative partnership), Superheroes (single ad) and the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign (social media content).
It is indeed a great honor to have our work recognized and appreciated by our peers from amongst the hundred plus entries received, says Hurriyat Ghayyur, Director of Marketing at the hospital. We hope to continue creating marketing collateral that helps our community better understand our services and our commitment to our mission.
