Easing Your Pain and Finding Relief
Wounds that don’t heal within a certain timeframe (usually about four weeks), even after you’ve carefully followed your doctor’s instructions, are referred to as non-healing wounds. There are many reasons wounds may not heal, including edema (build-up of fluid around the wound), infection, poor circulation, poor nutrition and repetitive trauma.
These non-healing wounds can be more than uncomfortable — they can lead to serious health complications. That’s why we’re here to get you on the path to recovery with comprehensive, evidence-based care for many different types of wounds, including:
- Arterial ulcers
- Burns
- Compromised skin grafts and flats
- Crush injuries
- Diabetic foot ulcers
- Embolisms
- Pressure ulcers
- Radiation wounds
- Surgical wounds
- Traumatic wounds
- Venous ulcers
