Our Nutritional Services team is excited to serve you. Your doctor may prescribe a meal plan that aligns with your unique needs and treatment plan. Please inform your nurse of any food allergies or special diets you follow so they can enter them into your chart.

We have a traditional menu as well as a plant-forward menu. Our menu is also available en Español.

Our Nutritional Services team provides nourishing, well-prepared meals and excellent service. You’ll be visited by one of our team members, who will guide you through selecting meals.

Our chefs prepare each meal using fresh, high-quality ingredients and items tailored to your prescribed diet while limiting processed foods and added sugars. We offer a variety of menu items, seasonings and condiments so that each meal is tailored to your tastes. If you have questions about your diet, a registered dietitian is available to speak with you.

    Answer:

  • Question: What time will my meals arrive?

    Answer:

    You will be served three daily meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner. The time your meals will arrive is based on the specific unit you are staying in.

  • Question: I have a food allergy. What should I do?

    Answer:

    If you have food allergies, please tell your nurse. Your nutritional attendant will guide you through our menu and help you choose safe meals based on your allergy.

  • Question: I have a food preference (e.g., vegetarian or vegan). What should I do?

    Answer:

    This diet substitutes salt with herbs and spices and limits processed cheeses and meats.

    A cardiac diet includes foods low in saturated fats and trans fats, such as lean meats, low-fat dairy products and low-fat salad dressings.
