- Robotic-Assisted Spine Surgery
-
Minimally invasive procedures, with their smaller incisions, can pose a challenge to surgeons due to the limited view of the patient’s anatomy. But robotic technology can help us overcome this challenge with 3D comprehensive surgical planning and analytics, giving the surgeon complete information and visualization before surgery begins. It also allows greater precision during your procedure.
At AdventHealth Parker, we’re a leader in spine surgery — and are pleased to be among the first to offer the latest surgical technology to our community.
- Pre-Surgery Education
-
We offer pre-operative education, so you know what to expect before, during and after your procedure. You can attend a virtual pre-operative spine surgery education class or watch our prep video online. Classes are free, and registration is required to attend the course.
- Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
-
At AdventHealth Porter, several of our team members are certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation — also called physiatry or PM&R — to aid in pain management. Through PM&R, we take a holistic, whole-person approach to relieving pain, focusing on exercises and therapy options that work for your body, mind and spirit. When building your unique spine care plan, our team will assess your needs to determine whether PM&R would be a good fit for you.
