You Can Support Our Global Health Initiatives

Our AdventHealth Global Health Initiatives provide quality health care in locations where it can be difficult to access. We partner with local groups that connect us with patients and their communities to provide compassionate care in a sustainable, culturally aware way. Volunteer for a trip or donate to help us continue this important work.

Join Our Mission by Volunteering With Us

Whether welcoming people at our front desk, walking someone to a test or making rounds with our angel cart, your help is good medicine. At our Denver medical center, volunteers over 18 years old must:

  • Be available for one, three- to four-hour shift per week (varies by assignment)
  • Commit to a minimum of six months of volunteer time
  • Complete an application, interview, orientation and specific training for your volunteer position
  • Pass a background check
  • Provide records for required immunizations
  • Take a tuberculosis test (free of charge)

Volunteers between 15 and 18 years old may participate in our junior volunteer program, a nine-week summer commitment. Junior volunteers must take a tuberculosis test and provide immunization records. Applications and two letters of recommendation must be submitted by April 30, and interviews are conducted in May.
