- Create a place for children to be children – to experience fun, support and continuity of life apart from catastrophic illness
- Create a safe space for children to express their feelings related to their parent’s cancer diagnosis
- Facilitate a better relationship between cancer patients and their children
- Help parents interpret their children’s behavior as responses to the family’s trauma and improve overall family communication

You Can Support Our Global Health Initiatives
Our AdventHealth Global Health Initiatives provide quality health care in locations where it can be difficult to access. We partner with local groups that connect us with patients and their communities to provide compassionate care in a sustainable, culturally aware way. Volunteer for a trip or donate to help us continue this important work.
