Dr. Cole is the Clerkship Director for Geriatrics at the Florida State University (FSU) College of Medicine, Orlando Campus.

Areas of Interest and Positions
*Dr. Cole supervises medical students, residents and geriatric fellows in the care of elderly patients in the hospital, outpatient clinics, nursing homes, and home visits.
*Oversees a Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment Clinic within the Centre for Family Medicine
*Meets with elder patients and their caregivers in an interdisciplinary team to evaluate their medical, functional and psychosocial status.
*Specialty Consultants Panel for Pharmacist’s Letter and Prescriber’s Letter
*ABIM Geriatric Board Exam Review Committee.

Dr. Peter Weiss is a geriatrician in Winter Park, Florida. He received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and has been in practice for more than 20 years.

Lori Miller, MSW

Lori Miller, MSW is our geriatric care coordinator and is a social worker with more than twenty years of medical social work experience. Lori graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Masters in Social Work. She has experience in multiple patient care settings including outpatient, home health, and inpatient as a case manager. She has served as a support group facilitator for Alzheimer and Dementia caregivers.

Brianna Wynne, MD

Brianna Wynne, MD

  • Dr. Wynne is a fellowship-trained, board-certified geriatrician with a family medicine background. Dr. Wynne completed undergraduate training at Hope College, medical school and family medicine residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, followed by geriatric fellowship at AdventHealth in Orlando. After fellowship, she joined the division of Geriatric Medicine at the University of Florida for a couple of years before returning to AdventHealth in the fall of 2023.
  • Dr. Wynne sees patients in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinic, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities. She has been a member of The Florida Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine’s Education Committee since 2022, where she currently serves as the Vice Chair. She is also actively engaged in the American Geriatric Society and American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Wynne is passionate about practicing evidence-based medicine and strives to be a life-long learner. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, and exploring the outdoors.
