Carlos Solano Loran, MD, is an interventional cardiologist who is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He earned his medical degree with high honors at the respected Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas, graduating at the top of his class. He thereafter moved to the United States for his internal medicine internship and residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, where he capped his tenure as Chief Resident and was honored with the Dimitri Stavropoulis Memorial Award for outstanding clinical performance. He was thereafter selected for an elite cardiovascular disease fellowship followed by an advanced fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Florida. He has multiple published works in the medical literature and is a bilingual provider with fluency in English and Spanish.
