Research Finance is a centralized service department within the AdventHealth Research Institute (AHRI). Our primary responsibility is to maintain the financial integrity of research related activities.
Research Finance functions include:
ensure compliance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the OMB Uniform Guidance
post-award accounting for grants
accounting for research studies, including invoicing
assist research departments to ensure appropriate and timely revenue recognition and to reimburse AdventHealth ancillary departments for their services
develop finance policies and procedures in compliance with regulations
assist research departments with annual budget preparation
monitor research departments’ monthly performance to identify areas of opportunity and expense control
provide analysis and strategic support to AHRI's senior leadership
