Catherine Logan, MD, MBA, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who sees adolescents and adults for conditions and treatments like knee surgery, joint preservation, shoulder instability, and shoulder arthroplasty. Dr. Logan is a former physical therapist and personal trainer, which gives her distinct expertise in sports injury, prevention, surgical management and recovery. She’s a team physician for USA Lacrosse men’s national team and the U.S. Ski & Snowboard team.
Dr. Logan earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed her residency with the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program and a fellowship with The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo.
Dr. Logan is a highly awarded physician, receiving recognition from the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society and the Presidential Award for Citizenship and Public Service. She’s the annual meeting chair for the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society and guest editor of the Journal of Cartilage and Joint Preservation (JCJP). She’s a member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Logan enjoys fitness, snowboarding and nutrition. She volunteers in the community with local youth organizations Denver City Lacrosse and The Chill Foundation, for which she serves on their board - Education
