Dr. Christopher Baker is a board-certified and Gamma Knife-certified neurosurgeon. As the AdventHealth Neuroscience Institute Chair, Dr. Baker helps patients with brain tumors, neurovascular disease and spinal and movement disorders.
Prior to starting his practice in Orlando in 2002, Dr. Baker served as a Captain in the United States Army Reserve. He also graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University and received his medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, where he graduated first in his class. He completed his neurosurgical residency at Columbia’s Neurological Institute of New York.
An award-winning scholar and researcher, Dr. Baker is a recipient of the AANS/CNS Galbraith Award for excellence in cerebrovascular research, the NOVA Award for clinical excellence in neurosurgery and is a current member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
