As part of one of the region’s leading cardiovascular surgery practices, David Spurlock, MD, is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon specializing in coronary artery bypass grafting, heart valve repair and replacement, aortic surgery, removal of cardiac masses, and surgery for atrial fibrillation and other electrical heart disorders. Dr. Spurlock received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, MI. He went on to complete a residency in general surgery at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, followed by a general surgery residency, also at Georgetown University Hospital, and a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Michigan Hospital.
