Edward Santoian, MD joined the staff at AdventHealth Ocala in January 2005. Prior to coming to Ocala, he was a partner of the Orlando Heart Center, where he had a busy interventional cardiology practice. Dr. Santoian graduated cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University with degrees in biology and chemistry. He then went to Georgetown University School of Medicine where he completed his MD and also earned his PhD, in cardiovascular physiology. He remained at Georgetown for his internship, as well as his residency and fellowship in cardiology. Dr. Santoian then completed his training with a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Emory University's world-renowned center of interventional cardiology.
Dr. Santoian is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition, he is a Fellow with the American College of Cardiology as well as the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. He performs all coronary, renal and peripheral diagnostic procedures interventions.
