Biography

Holly Skinner, DO, is a board-certified neurologist with additional board certification and training in epileptology and sleep medicine. She specializes in helping adults with seizures or epilepsy, and patients of all ages with sleep disorders including obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome, REM behavior disorder, insomnia and others. She obtained her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, then completed internship and residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina – where she was named Chief Neurology Resident. After, she completed fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology with emphasis in epilepsy and sleep medicine at the University of Florida, where she also obtained a master’s degree in clinical and translational science. Currently, her efforts are dedicated to the care of adult patients with AdventHealth Medical Group's elite epilepsy practice as well as sleep-disorder patients of all ages at the AdventHealth Sleep Disorders Center, where she is Co-Medical Director.
