Biography

Dr. Fawaz Makki is a fellowship-trained otolaryngologist – head and neck surgeon who specializes in head and neck oncologic, minimally invasive (transoral laser & robotic) surgery as well as microvascular reconstructive surgery. He completed his residency training at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada, where he earned multiple awards for clinical and teaching excellence. He went on to complete a fellowship in head and neck surgical oncology and microvascular reconstruction at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada, followed by a second fellowship in transoral robotic surgery at AdventHealth Celebration. In 2018, he worked with Alberta health services and the Tom Baker cancer center in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where he earned a commendation letter for his clinical work and patients’ care.
