Biography

Nataliya Gulyayeva, MD, PhD, is a leading mental health professional who sees patients at AdventHealth Medical Group's psychiatry practice in Winter Park. She holds board certifications in psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine and has advanced training in psycho-oncology and psychodynamic psychotherapy. She specializes in helping patients cope with the emotional effects of being diagnosed with a life-changing illness and treats those who are dealing with depression, anxiety, panic disorders, bipolar illness, mild cognitive changes, postpartum depression, and psychiatric aspects of cancer and transplant. Dr. Gulyayeva joined AdventHealth Medical Group in July 2013 from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center/New York-Presbyterian/Weill Medical Center in New York, where she completed her clinical fellowship training. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and the American Medical Association, among others.
