AdventHealth Medical Group Growth and Well-Being Committee

Our physician well-being committee serving both hospital locations meets monthly, is led by chair Bridget Nord, MD, and covers these key initiatives:
Physicians and health professionals face unique challenges. When you take care of your mental and emotional health, you can take better care of your patients, too. That’s why we offer six (6) complimentary counseling sessions with a licensed clinical psychologist. These psychologists are not affiliated with AdventHealth, ensuring complete confidentiality.

We annually partner with our communities to provide free, one-day health clinics. These clinics offer valuable health screenings and services and connect individuals with ongoing support resources.

Originating in Chicagoland, Phil's Friends is a faith-based ministry dedicated to encouraging cancer patients. They provide family-friendly service projects including decorating and assembling care package boxes, cards of hope and care package supply drives. To learn more click here.

Project C.U.R.E. here in Chicago continues to be a great service partner of ours. They offer individual and group volunteer opportunities that involve sorting and packing medical supplies to be sent to third-world and disadvantaged countries.
