Question: What is a hospitalist?
Answer:Hospitalists are physicians who only work in the hospital. They are your in-hospital doctor and are available throughout your stay to discuss your care and treatment with you and your family. They're dedicated to ensuring you receive the very best care.
Hospitalist medicine is the fastest-growing specialty in health care, and our hospitalists have grown to supervise the majority of our inpatients across the AdventHealth network of care.

Question: What qualifications does my health and wellness coach have?
Answer:Our Coaches are dual-certified by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBC-HWC) and a training school accredited by the NBC-HWC, the gold standard in the industry. WholeYou Coaches have been trained to the highest standards in the profession.

Question: What can I expect in my first coaching session?
Answer:The first coaching session will celebrate your decision to invest in your well-being! During this time, you’ll also discuss your strengths, motivations and desires for change.
Continue ReadingYou and your Coach will review your Wholeness Assessment, identifying areas that are already working well for you and areas that you wish to make behavior changes. Lastly, your Coach will partner with you to establish your Wholeness Vision, a set of three-month goals, and your first week’s action steps.

Question: How do I prepare for my first coaching session?
Answer:Your first coaching session is 45 minutes long. To prepare, you’ll log in to the WholeYou app to complete your Wholeness Assessment, select your Coach and schedule your first coaching session. You won't complete any goals or other activities before the first session. At the scheduled time of your session, you'll log in to your WholeYou app, click on the Calendar, and then launch the scheduled coaching session.

Question: How do I meet with my Coach?
Answer:You'll meet with your Coach virtually through the app during your scheduled coaching session. You can also send your Coach a message any time!

Question: How do I get started?
Answer:Once you sign up, you’re officially a WholeYou member. You’ll begin your journey by completing an online Wholeness Assessment, choosing your Coach, and selecting a day and time for your first one-on-one video/voice-enabled coaching session. Your Assessment results will help guide the work you'll do with your Coach. You'll partner with your Coach to create personal goals and get the motivation, information and encouragement you need to achieve those goals.

Question: Is my information shared with my medical team?
Answer:The information you share with your Coach is not shared with your medical team. However, our Coaches can help you get in touch with AdventHealth Care Advocates, who will help connect you to any health care services you need.

Question: Will I have the same Coach for every session?
Answer:Yes. You'll have a personal relationship with your Coach who will be committed to your success throughout your WholeYou engagement. You can connect with your dedicated Coach often through secure messaging in the WholeYou app and also via the video and/or voice-enabled platform for your scheduled coaching sessions.

Question: Do I have to use AdventHealth's Rx Plus Pharmacy for maintenance medication?
Answer:Yes. All maintenance drugs must be filled through AdventHealth's Rx Plus Pharmacy. This enables us to deliver significant cost savings to you, our employees, and also save money as a company. Additionally, it gives us the opportunity to invest those savings in other areas and keeping health insurance costs down.
After you fill the first 30-day supply of your medication, you will need to use AdventHealth's Rx Plus Pharmacy. Our team will help you transfer your prescription and contact your physician if needed.

Question: How do I request refills?
Answer:You can request a refill up to 30 days in advance on a 90-day supply, and at least two weeks before you need the medication (controlled substances subject to stricter refill allowance). Rx Plus Pharmacy will deliver your medication within eight days (excluding weekends and shipping). To avoid delays, please ensure you have provided the correct method of payment on your profile.
