Women's and Children's Health Navigation
A health navigator is a specially trained registered nurse whose job is to provide expert personalized, clinical assistance and educational, emotional and spiritual support. This complimentary service includes:
Finding a health care provider (physician, midwife and/or specialist)
Answers to your health care questions
Assistance with scheduling annual office visits and screenings
Resources and support for you and your family
Coordination of care among multiple providers and facilities
Health Navigator, Doreen Forsythe, BSN, RN, has been a valued member of our team since 2001. Graduating from Villanova University in Pennsylvania, she has over 20 years of experience in multiple nursing disciplines including cardiology, neurology, surgery and nursing education. Doreen is an experienced health care advocate and is committed to providing you and your family with the support you need throughout your health care experience.

Viviana Diaz, BSN, RN, has been serving patients at AdventHealth since 2015 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Nova Southeastern University. Viviana has over 10 years of experience in multiple nursing disciplines, including obstetrics, parent education and mental health. As a health care advocate, Viviana is bilingual in Spanish and English and is committed to providing women and families with the support they need throughout their health care journeys.

Genesis Rivera, BSN, RN, is a graduate of the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. With a passion for nursing, Genesis has over eight years of experience in multiple specialties, including neurology, orthopedics, inpatient rehabilitation, labor and delivery and maternal-fetal medicine. Genesis is bilingual in Spanish and English and an advocate for every patient, ensuring they are well-educated in all aspects of their health care.
