AdventHealth for Children was center ring this afternoon thanks to a big surprise a seriously big surprise, as WWE Superstars took time out of their busy schedules to come by for an afternoon of fun, laughter and crafts.

Kids and parents alike were all smiles as they marveled at and mingled with their visitors, who split their time between a group event and special room-to-room patient visits.

For me personally, there's nothing worse than seeing a young child in the hospital sick. Its one of life’s cruelties, said Big Show, a former world heavyweight champion. So being a WWE Superstar I get a chance to come by and cheer these kids up. Hopefully I'll cheer them up.

If they say Ahhh, a giant! and run the other way, it might be a bad thing, he said with a smile.

Big Show was joined by WWE Superstars Bayley, Nia Jax, Sami Zayn and Titus O’Neil, as well as NXT Superstar Ember Moon. They’re all in town for WrestleMania 33, the WWE's premier annual event, which will take place April 2 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. The Superstars are making stops around Central Florida in the lead-up to the event.

For the patients and their families, the couple of hours away from the procedures and monotony that come with long hospital stays was a more-than-welcome distraction.

What makes me the most happy is seeing the kids happy, said Melissa Rodriguez, whose family traveled to Orlando just for WrestleMania, when her child became sick and was hospitalized. My daughter got to see Bayley and she’s known for hugs so my daughter ran straight up to her and accepted that hug.
