Meet Our Mom: Mindy F

I chose to delivery my babies at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs after touring The Baby Place when I was pregnant with my first baby. I was instantly comforted by the calm environment and amenities that made it feel like home but with the safety and care of a hospital staff.

My labor with my daughter was quite long and the nurses and staff were amazing. From calmly talking me through my contractions to making sure my husband and I had everything we needed to feel comfortable. We were able to keep the lights dim, play calming music, and enjoy some aroma therapy which made things feel so peaceful while we waited to welcome our daughter.

After such a wonderful experience with my first baby, I also chose to deliver my son at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs. I was amazed at how many updates were made to The Baby Place in the short 2 years since having my daughter. I chose to deliver the second time with a midwife – a great option offered for those wanting to have a less “clinical” environment while still having the safety of being in the hospital!
