Visiting Hours
The hospital visiting hours are daily between 8 am and 7 pm.
Weekend visitors should use the emergency department entrance at the rear of the hospital.
Visiting Guidelines
For the health and safety of our patients, we limit the number of visitors in some areas of the hospital, including:
- Intensive care unit (ICU): One visitor at a time
- Medical/surgery unit: One visitor at a time
- Orthopedics: One visitor can spend the night
Visitors should plan to stay at most 30 minutes, depending on the patient's condition.
Visitors should limit themselves to up to two at a time.
Because patients require various diets, visitors should check with the nurse before bringing food or drinks.
Sometimes, it may be advisable for a family member to stay around the clock. You can arrange this with the nurse.
It may be important for a family member to be present when the physician makes their rounds. Please check with the physician or nurse if this applies to your loved one.
Family members who spend the night can use the recliners. Please ask a nurse if you need one.
Children under 10 should not visit except in special cases and when arranged with the nurse. Children should not be left unattended at any time.
People with colds, flu or other infections should not visit.
Visitors waiting for patients who are in surgery should stay in the main waiting room across from the nursing station. Surgeons often visit with the family members after surgery and look for you in the main waiting room, not the patient's room.
Smoking and tobacco products are prohibited on our hospital campus for your health and ours.
Emergency Room Visitation Guidelines
Visitation is allowed when possible but is limited to one visitor per adult patient and two per minor.
Visitation in the ER is not permitted for patients with COVID-19 symptoms or an existing COVID-19 diagnosis.
