rhPSMA-7.3(18F)-PET scan to detect prostate cancer in patients with early PSA recurrence.

The research is being done at the Radiology Nuclear Medicine Department of AdventHealth Orlando and Celebration. Patients are instructed to drink water prior to administration of flotufolastat F-18 to ensure adequate hydration and to continue drinking and voiding frequently for the first few hours following administration to reduce radiation exposure. The flotufolastat material is injected into your vein at a dose of 296 MBq (8 mCi +/- 20%). After the injection, an intravenous flush of 10 ml sterile 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection is administered to ensure full delivery of the dose. The imaging scan from mid-thigh and proceed to base of skull is initiated approximately 60 minutes after administration of flotuflastat. Scan duration is approximately 20 minutes depending on the number of bed positions and acquisition time per bed position (typically 3 minutes).
