Biography

Brian Parkin, MD, is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist. After graduating from Grove City College, in Grove City, PA, Dr. Parkin received his medical degree from the University of Toledo in Ohio. He went on to complete both a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Michigan. A highly experienced clinician, Dr. Parkin specializes in the treatment of hematological malignancies and in blood and marrow transplantation (BMT). His research interests focus on detecting and preventing relapse of acute myeloid leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes before and after allogeneic stem cell transplantation.
