Biography

Dr. Heather Cornnell is the Senior Research Scientist who heads the Research Imaging Core at the TRI. She has advanced degrees in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering, with a specialization in Image Processing and Analyses from the University of Florida. She started at the TRI in 2011 after completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the Moffitt Cancer Research Institute in imaging animal models of cancer. As one of the original members of the TRI team, she has developed and optimized the MRI, DEXA and Fibroscan acquisition and quality procedures for the core, including multinuclear spectroscopy, MR image se
