AVAIL: AdventHealth Research Institute Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease Biobank and Registry



Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a common liver disease that leads to many health complications. Many people have this disease and do not know it. There are no medications available to treat it. The purpose of this study to collect information, blood, urine and liver tissue place them in a repository. This type of repository of human samples is known as a biobank. This biobank will be used in future studies related to the prevention and treatment of NAFLD or other disorders.
